Our Vision and idea
The base for what is today known as Apoteum started about 30 years ago, in a small town called Falköping, located in central Sweden. We started Apoteum as a supplements company, because we saw that there are so many healthy, natural supplements out in the world, that so few people are aware of. Everything from plants growing in your own garden to the herbs used as simple spices during cooking, all of it has potential health benefits that could enrich your everyday life.
We believe that with the correct knowledge and skills, we should be able to harvest everything we need to stay healthy and well from what nature provides us. Our wish is not to cure, but to prevent, through as natural products as possible.
Our vitamins and supplements production!
Our production facilities has been used for supplements manufacturing since 1990 and are situated outside Falköping. The only things that have changed during the years have been upgrades of our equipment, and the expansion of our assortment. We now have an in-house chromatograph that we use to constantly check the quality of our products, and everything is approved by the government for food and supplement manufacturing.
Our experience is built on research, trial, error, and more research, and through that gain the confidence to say that we offer only the highest quality of supplements available on the market.
Where does our ingredients come from?
We believe that the best way to make sure that our ingredients are fresh and come from sustainable sources, is to focus on local products as much as possible. Whenever we have the opportunity, we source from the Nordic countries, such as blueberries from Finland, raw hemp from Sweden and Denmark, algae from Iceland, and so on. Only in cases when there are no local suppliers of the ingredients we are looking for, do we go worldwide.
Even then, quality and sustainability are our main focus. We follow strict regulations regarding import of foods from non-EU countries, and have developed long term relationships with sustainable farmers and companies all over the world from whom we source our ingredients.
