What is CBD oil for
CBD oil Full-Spectrum is an oil that contains both CBD and all of the other healthy compounds of the hemp plant. Hemp is known for being a good source for fibers, vitamins, minerals, and oils such as omega 3 and 6. The phytocannabinoids found in the hemp plant are also very similar to the endocannabinoids that our bodies naturally produce, and can help to activate the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
In the United States, where CBD is gaining popularity every day, you can find it in a wide array of products. It’s not only sold as CBD oil, but as creams, cosmetica, candy, drinks, and much more. As an essential oil, the CBD oil can offer a moment of respite and relaxation, if you are interested in aromatherapy.
How long does CBD oil take to work
There is no set manual when it comes to how to use CBD, as this is a relatively new product and research is still lacking. When adding the fact that we are all different, and react to it differently, makes it hard to gauge exactly how long it can take for one to notice the effects of CBD oil.
Some might notice it as soon as they use it, while it might take up to a month or two before someone else starts to feel it. It might also be that you need to try a few different CBD oils before you find one that works for you, or maybe a different strength. So as frustrating as it might be, the only advice to give is for you to take it slow and not get discouraged, sometimes it just takes time.
There have been cases where people have started to notice that the oil doesn’t give the same effects as it used to anymore. This might be because the body has gotten “used to” the CBD, and you might need to reset your ECS by taking a week long break, before starting again with a low dose.
How is CBD oil made
There are a few different methods one can apply when making CBD oil, and it’s impossible to say which one is the best, as there is not enough research dedicated to this yet. What the majority of people seem to agree on, is that one should choose a method that is as gentle, effective, and environmentally friendly as possible. If that so happens to be extractions through solvents such as alcohol, the hi-tech CO2 extraction method, or to simply boil the hemp with a carrier oil as we at Apoteum do, we all try to stick to these three principles.
Our own technique is based on gently heating up the hemp, which will activate the CBD and other cannabinoids in it. The body has an easier time to digest the CBD if it is presented in the form of an oil, and if you are making essential oils such as we are, then it is highly important to choose a good carrier oil, like olive or coconut oil.
