What is Probiotic?
Your body is full of bacteria, some bad, but also a lot of good ones. One of the latter ones is called probiotics, a type of bacteria that you can get from fermented foods, and that is crucial for a healthy digestive and immune system.
What does a Probiotic supplement do?
Without the good bacteria that lives in your gut, it becomes much harder for the body to digest food, and consequently absorb the important nutrients from it. Probiotics also plays a key role in maintaining the immune system by aiding in the increase of immunity cells.
Our Complete Probiotics capsules are not only packed with healthy, probiotic bacteria, but also designed to bypass the stomach acids for the best absorption into the intestines, as the digestive acids in the stomach can ruin the effectiveness of the probiotics. The capsules we use enable a delayed release of contents directly into the small intestine, where they are absorbed most efficiently into the body.
Please keep in mind that while our product helps with symptoms and temporary discomfort, if you experience prolonged health issues, we highly recommend seeking out medical help.

Lactic Acid Bacteria
The main (and only) ingredient in our Complete Probiotics capsules is lactic acid bacteria. There are, however, more than one bacteria that produces lactic acid, and we have chosen the following ones for the best results.
Bifidobacterium longum
Bifidobacterium longum is a rod-shaped bacterium that can be found in the human gastrointestinal tract, and is considered to be one of the first colonizers of the gastrointestinal tract in infants. As we grow up, the amount of B. longum in our body decreases, but is still considered part of the gut flora, and produces lactic acid that is believed to be able to prevent growth of pathogenic organisms. When grown outside of the body, B. longum is consumed by mouth to help combat ailments such as diarrhea and constipation.
Bifidobacterium infantis
Bifidobacterium infantis is a “friendly” bacteria of the group Lactobacillus that can be found in the human oral cavity and gastrointestinal tract, and helps our body maintain a healthy digestion. Some research suggests that it might help reduce abdominal pain and bloating for people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and in some cases also lower the inflammation in the body.
Lactobacillus acidophilus
Lactobacillus acidophilus are, as the name suggests, part of the genu Lactobacillus bacteria, and is one of the most common type of probiotic to be found. Lactobacillus make up a big part of the lactic acid bacteria, as they are responsible for converting sugar into lactic acid. L. acidophilus can be found both in your intestines and in the vagina. In the intestines it makes sure that the lining of the intestinal walls stay intact, and helps prevent harmful bacteria from colonizing. In the vagina it also helps in prevention of the colonization of harmful bacteria, and in so reduces the risks of vaginal infection.
Lactobacillus casei
Lactobacillus casei also belongs to the Lactobacillus bacteria, and can be found mainly in the mouth, and genital and urinary tracts of humans. It has a wide pH and temperature range, and when put together with L. acidophilus, L. casei works as a complement to the growth of the previously mentioned bacteria. On its own, L. casei is mainly used for regulating the bowel movements and in prevention of diarrhea. There are some claims that it can also help clear up skin issues, but no real substantial evidence has been found for that.
